October is over, and tonight is the spookiest night of the year. Ghosts, zombies and vampires are lurking behind every corner; nothing is what it seems. But if you’re anything like us, monsters and spirits aren’t the scariest thing you can think of. Hackers and cyber criminals are a real-life threat, day or night, year round. How’s that for spooky?
Today also marks the end of Cyber Security Awareness Month, but that doesn’t mean we can all stop thinking about cyber security. If you haven’t already, check out the Homeland Security website for more information on what this past month was all about. And while you’re there, take a look at the section specifically on mobile security, called “Protecting Portable Devices: Data Security.” It encourages strong passwords, secure password storage and password encryption…. And so do we!
So remember, even after all the cobwebs have come down and all the candy has been eaten, there are still ghouls and goblins of another sort lurking out there. Luckily, you can protect yourself from these real malevolents. Don’t get tricked–treat yourself to Keeper!
