Over the course of the past year, we started a brand new program here at Keeper. Our Customer Relationship Manager for the Asia-Pacific region worked with the Japanese government to launch an internship program to support students impacted by the region of Japan that was hit by the tsunami in 2011. Most of these students’ families had their towns completely destroyed and were relocated to other cities.

The program was developed to give university students a chance to come work, learn and hang out with the Keeper team here in Chicago. Already, the program is a big success. Our interns have given us enthusiastic feedback, and we’ve had a blast with them! It’s been so successful, in fact, that we’re expanding the program for students in South Korea and our first new intern joins us next month! We can’t wait.
